Sunday September 29th - Saturday October 5th 2024 An adventure Tour of Jordan (Petra & Wadi Rum) including wild camping and night photography Tuition from award winning photographers Kat Lawman & Gareth Mon Jones Experience the incredible 'Mars on Earth' landscape of Jordan and live amongst the Bedouin people, with a mix of desert camps and wild camping under the stars This is more than just a night photography tour, it is an amazing 6 night, cultural adventure through the desert in true nomad style! We will spend the days exploring Joran , including Petra and then head out into the Wadi Rum Desert. We will spend our evenings eating some lovely traditional Bedouin cuisine followed by a night of astrophotography. One of our nights will be a wild camp out in the Wadi Rum Desert, taking in all the desert has to offer and seeking out some amazing compositions. This tour is for all levels of photographer Secure your place with a deposit of £250 Itinerary: Day 1 Fly to Amman - group taxi to Madaba Day 2 Transfer to Petra for visit of Petra archaeological site Overnight in camp in Small Petra or Mahmoud homestay in Bedouin village - begin our night photography journey (Breakfast,Dinner) Day 3 Drive to Wadi Rum – tour of desert - Night photography session (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Day 4 , 5 , 6 Transfer to fixed camp Wadi Rum – jeep tour and night photography tuition each night. We also have a model for our last night in the form of a Camel! Our aim will be to photograph the milky way over the camel. (Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner) Day 7 Depart - Transfer to Airport (Breakfast) Equipment you will need: A fairly new DSLR/Mirrorless camera Wide angle lens, suitable for night photography (35mm or wider with aperture of F2.8 or wider) Sturdy Tripod Memory Cards Head torch and spare batteries Camera batteries Intervalometer / shutter release (useful) Power banks to charge torches/batteries Warm clothes as the desert will get colder overnight suitable footwear Trip will be fully guided and include: Transportation All meals as stated Accommodation based on 2 sharing Night Photography Tuition provided by Kat & Gareth Entry fees to Petra and Wadi Rum Visa Fee Under Jordan Pass Flights, insurance, tips, and meals not stated are not included To book this trip please follow the link below & I will be in touch
